Title: Redesign of the Dutch Pension System
We discuss the ongoing redesign of the Dutch pension system. We consider Pareto efficiency of risk sharing in funded pension systems, the notion of ‘solidarity’ and the link to the Rao-Blackwell theorem. The presentation will not be based on a single paper, but more focus on ‘impact’ based on a series of existing results in the literature.
